He's not being stroppy. Slovenia have about the best defence in the competition.
Portugwl are playing better than England did, but they're too slow. Everyone can see the build up.
Mind you all the commentators are saying the pitch is terrible, lumpy and bumpy and there are divets everywhere. I think Shearer said yesterday that the pitches aren't international standard or even good championship standard. It is not just our commentators saying this, other countries have noted it and the Italians have called them amateur. Not what you expect in Germany.
They have had a lot of rain, but so does the UK, so I suppose that's not an excuse, but it is causing people to be unbalanced and twist ankles

Well he’s just had a penalty saved in extra time so he’s not a happy bunny
i think the issue with the pitch is it’s been relaid twice.
2nd half of extra time and something has upset Ronaldo not sure what
turns out that Portugal’s keeper is the hero, he saved all the penalties.

Well their defence was amazing, world class, but their strikers weren't. I suppose them's the breaks.

Superb game from the Netherlands! The final goal was one of the best of the tournament, imo.
(Pleased to note that the cameras do not focus on pitch invaders, but instead move away. So many attention seekers trying to spoil sports. At least they are not getting publicity!)

Absolutely fantastic win by Turkey! I really enjoyed that game. And the keeper will be a legend forever. Superb save!

The rain was pelting down but they kept playing. I was worried about players slipping and breaking limbs.
Think it was the best match I have seen so far, real skill on show.

Luckily the fans still have their orange kits Rufus. SIL (who is Dutch) is unsure what the reason is for the navy/orange trim kit...?
The further a tournament goes, the duller the matches.
Spain v Germany was pretty pathetic although it is a shame when the host nation goes out.
Meanwhile France v Portugal is not exactly setting the heather alight.

Don't like penalties. At this stage in a competition surely there is time to replay the entire match a couple of days later?
