When it started raining there, I wasn't looking at the screen and went to get to the washing in, the rain was so loud! Very confused when I got to the back door.

I think 6kms of the Seine is too long. We're just watching boats in the rain.
Didn't they recall that terrible Thames Regatta that finished Prince Philip off.

I recorded it but might not watch. I did read a comment that seeing the first boat appear was quite exciting, but when it got to boat 85, not so much! Also, the designer had relied on the sun being out to get golden light on the water, or even on light raindrops, so presumably the exciting vision was quite literally washed out.
How did Celine Dion do? That poor woman, I’m amazed she could commit to doing a show given the state of her health.

Well that just shows how effective my RT scanning was. I didn’t even know there was any diving today nor that Tom Daley is on tomorrow. I thought all the diving was at the end of the Games. Have just rescanned and hopefully haven’t missed any.

That diving was really good to watch! I did think the Chinese were a little overmarked for synchro though.
Tom Daley was there as usual cheering on the team and knitting. 👍

The men's gymnastic qualification has gone well for GB. We've come first, above the Americans and Canadians. Just have to wait and see how China, Japan, and Ukraine do in theirs.
