Thought last nights, was one of the worst builds I had ever seen on GD....how Matt got permission to build right next to the cottage, was amazing. Basically it was a play house, just for the Kids {parents included} - a mess of styles, that just didn't work together - the gimmicks from the secret mirror, over the fire to the 'Bond Pod', were just that, gimmicks....and it cost 840K. gaah  |

This clashes with something else so I recorded the late, late repeat but they have done away with that since episode 1 so cannot record it! I only use PC catch up for emergencies as I do not like watching on such a small screen.

Stunning GD this week, very different to the last one - Tom & Danielle, [another pregnancy while being built] got it right with their steam bending wood designed extension - it blended so well with the wood lodge - the curves were beautiful the setting amazing, a big contrast to last weeks mickey mouse build. |

They were so determined to do it their way and what an achievement for the lovely couple and finished before the birth. Very enjoyable, I love woodworkers !

Stunning GD this week, very different to the last one - Tom & Danielle, [another pregnancy while being built] got it right with their steam bending wood designed extension - it blended so well with the wood lodge - the curves were beautiful the setting amazing, a big contrast to last weeks mickey mouse build. The Tree House was the week before, I liked it too, but it wasn't really a tree house and come winter it'll be over looked by a car park...the Micky mouse one, was the 800k black thing, that was a playground for kids |

Wasn't struck on the black box this week. Couldnt understand what the gas main was doing in the middle of the wood and they almost built the house on it surely they would have checked on the position of utilities.
