Did anyone watch this? On Saturdays after Strictly. Full of tension but with post Strictly excitement slump I was nodding off slightly towards the end. Not sure what I think about it, but will watch the next episode

Looks interesting, Linseed, and now available on the i-Player. I note that each of the seven episodes is devoted to the different characters, one by one; a couple of past drama series (darned if I can remember which ones) have taken this approach, which can be quite tricky to get used to!

One of the best was Clocking Off, pretty old now. It focused on a different character's story each week.

I started to watch on Saturday while I was babysitting but the parents arrived home just over half way through. I plan to catch the rest of it. What I saw until then piqued enough interest from me.

I’m looking forward to it, when I can get to it, 😂.

I watched the first one but it didn't grab me.

Definitely watching this, and it's started well.
I'm quite a fan of other series based on books by the same author - Big Little Lies (Sky Atlantic, 2 seasons) and Nine Perfect Strangers (Amazon Prime, 1 season so far, second season coming - S1 was on Channel 4, so S2 might be).

I enjoyed the first episode so am looking forward to the rest which I will save for something decent to watch on Saturday evenings, rather than binging on the whole lot. Nine Perfect Strangers was excellent and I didn't realise this is from the same author. That probably explains why I like it.

Loved Nine Perfect Strangers!
Finally finished episode 1 of Apples (I'm juggling about five different series on catch-up at the moment!) and what struck me almost straight away was how clear the dialogue was. That's a winner for me in itself - I cannot abide the mumbling which seems to be a given in a lot of British drama these days...

Has anyone else finished this series? I found the conclusion not only satisfying but quite moving with the 'moral message' it contained.

I've finished it and enjoyed it. Everyone had something of a life message surrounding them, and something pretty important they hadn't been sharing.
