I never watched anything in the Buffy/Angel universe. I could never get into it. Bones was a bit hit or miss for me. I watched the first couple of seasons, then one day, I just stopped watching it. The Temperance Brennan character just really irritated me with the way she was written.
I have seen bits of Seal Team. Seasons 1 and 2 were on Amazon Prime for a while (which was where I saw it). However, it is normally on Sky and it has already been renewed for its sixth season.

I suspect it is going to be a crash, bang, wallop series like the one that gorgeous chap from Criminal Minds did. Not for me, I’m afraid.
L&O Organised Crime.
Just watching episode 1 and I cannot follow the story at all. And I watched the SVU ep where his wife was killed so did have the back story! I feel as if I have started watching a six part serial in episode 4!

I agree Miranda, he probably would be too old in real life (desk job I expect), but being TV, belief is suspended. I wasn't too keen on Temperance Brennan myself, though quite enjoyed the stories.

Oh, Brennan was incredibly annoying.
I loved the Squints. I still get weepy if I see the death of Vincent Nigel-Murray.
And I loved the guy from ZZ Top as Angela's dad.

I never understood why Kathy Reichs allowed this to happen, given her involvement in production. She was a producer for “Bones” and collaborates with the show’s seven main writers on each script, especially on the science, and even wrote episodes (e.g. The Witch in the Wardrobe).

I only saw up to season 9. I knew Dr Sweets was going to be killed off in the next season. Also I was getting annoyed with it.

L&O Organised Crime
I watched episode 2 and it was a lot better than the opener (not saying a lot!). There was a huge armed robbery and the stolen goods were covid vaccines! For sale to very rich uptown customers at vaccine parties! I know L&O do like to use a lot of true crime cases as a base for their stories so I wonder if that happened.

Banshee (new series)
An ex-con assumes the identity of a murdered sheriff in the small town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, where has some unfinished business.... Stars: Antony Starr, Ryan Shane, Ivana Millicevic, Ben Cross, and Ulrich Thomsen. Apart from Ben Cross, the others are unknown to me. Saw the trailer last night, will be watching.

I am finding, over the last ten years or so, that I am switching off shows that are violent.
I couldn't really get into Hawaii 5-0 because of the constant gun battles.

Me too. I don't mind the cartoony violence so much, like in superhero films, but serious violence not so much.

Banshee
They're showing two episodes at a time. You are warned beforehand about the swearing, (F words aplenty), nudity (nothing left to the imagination), and violence, (one guy dies with a beer bottle shoved down his throat). I enjoyed it. The new sheriff's ex girlfriend has something to hide, and I suspect her daughter might also be his. Looking forward to next week.

I watched the first two last night and quite enjoyed it. It reminded me of another show but not sure what! Was it Tim Roth as a maverick cop from England who went to Canada? Anyhoo, it was OK I thought. Mind you I was quite surprised by the sex scenes!!! Luckily I could FF where necessary, 😂. I too suspect the daughter might be his. She’s pretty advanced for 13 or 14 isn’t she!?!
