That was quite good. Better, IMO, than the current film based on the story because it stayed more true to what actually happened (nothing apart from a hoax according to many).

This week and next, Pick is showing the last two episodes of Bones Series 4. Which is great as about three weeks ago they showed the start of series 5!!

You sometimes get some gems on Pick so I like to monitor it! They just showed all 7 series of Cold Case, most of which I hadn't seen before.

I recorded all of Cold Case. Formulaic in cases but some interesting ones. Lot of social history.

You sometimes get some gems on Pick so I like to monitor it! They just showed all 7 series of Cold Case, most of which I hadn't seen before. I like Lily Rush in Cold Case. Have to confess too that at the end when they show the person who was killed looking at all the live folks, I get a lump in the throat and often have a bit of a grizzle. |

I learnt quite early to watch it all the way to the end cos you can miss something important to future stories if you don't!

Series 4 ended last night when they belatedly showed the finale. Series 5 starts again next week with a repeat of episode 1.

Pick are showing The Enfield Haunting (3 parter) from Tuesday 5 July at 10.00. I'm really enjoying The Enfield Haunting. I don't remember it being reported in the papers at the time, so I'm coming to it completely fresh. I know nothing about the story, so I'm treating it as a scary drama. Timothy Spall is always worth watching. One more episode to go! |
