That's interesting! I guess it makes sense as Americans seem to panic at the idea of not having a Prez.  Having someone in charge until an election can be arranged is better than nothing I guess. |

Finally got round to watching this, well the first 3 episodes, just about to start on the rest. It's so engrossing. I don't trust the chief of staff, Aaron, at all. And what happened with that survivor? It is a binge watch show because every episodes (that I've watched, at least) leaves you with a question and you just need one more episode to find out what's going on.

I don't know, I gave up on it after the 5th one. The Prez was far too much of a Peter Perfect for me.

He is Peter Perfect but it seems like hes a good and decent man who maybe turned by the new job that he has. So many people are making denands on him he's already sent a plane of refugees to Canada from Miami, something the old Kirkman wouldn't have done.
I've still got a few episodes left, but Kimbal and MacLeish I'm not liking at all!

Apparently the 2nd season starts with the president in the Capitol building. The same one that was blown up. Apparently they rebuilt it in a year!!! F**k right off and do not darker my door again. A year!! To rebuild a massive building like that. You'd have police, fire, CIA, FBI, National Security, specialist agencies scanning the site for months before even getting to the rebuilding stage. Then you'd have to get plans in place. The stonework, the marble statues, the glass work. This isn't a branch of Tesco they're knocking up! Jeez.
And it's supposed to be 1yr in and Capitols already been rebuild. But didn't he have a 100day plan and I don't think rebuilding work had started. So are they sayings it's been rebuilt in 265days?!
My West Wing box sets are a calling!

I'm just half way through season 2 and the presidents wife has been killed in a car accident. The next episode has Kim Raven. Straight away I'm thinking "Hello First Lady MkII" We shall see.

This is getting a 3rd season on Netflix, after ABC dropped the show.
I've just finished the 2nd season and it ends with Emily handing over documents. So I'm glad that that cliffhanger might get resolved.
