on free View? Some of mine have just vanished both on the pvr and the actual tv. Was watching and now getting message saying scrambled or unavailable for about a dozen channels, mostly my favourites

I've been watching a DVD so I don't know. What area are you in?

Must have been a local glitch of some sort.

Apparently there has been a Freeview signal change. I noticed around 30channels had vanished tonight so had to retune TV and Humax. Some big ones had gone like BBC4HD, More4+1, 5USA+1 so if you have any recordings scheduled, better check reception. People are reporting problems on Down Detector.

I kept getting an on-screen pop-up on my TV warning me of the forthcoming change (on 21st) so I was prepared. I'm still getting the warning, which is easy enough to get rid of (press the yellow button) but it's still annoying - hopefully it'll stop after a day or two.

I only got that once. And I haven't retuned my tv yet. I should do but .... it's a pain in the bum remembering everything I record

Dad uses Freeview. He came down yesterday evening saying he couldn't find any channels on his Freeview box. We were having dinner at the time and I was going to go up and see what I could do to help him and by the time I did he'd sorted it out somehow. He just said he clicked everything he could think of and it all miraculously reappeared!

This is bad for me (using the London Crystal Palace transmitter). I can't get a number of channels on Freeview any more, the most important of which is BBC4 HD. They've shifted to new frequencies - not just different ones, new ones that have only just started to be used for TV transmissions - and I can't pick them up. I think I need to replace my old aerial with a new wideband one. It's not a disaster because I can still get BBC4 HD through freesat, but others such as C4+1 HD and 4seven HD I now have no access to.

I just got a screen message to retune my Tv and now I have lost 5USA+1, C4HD+1 & C47HD. What a bummer!

Sounds like the same problem as Gman.

The annoying thing is I did the March retune and it was OK! Then I lost 56 and 86 but they came back.
I am on the Crystal Palace transmitter too so perhaps they have ongoing issues/changes.

And they're back! Flagged as Bad Signal but apparently watchable. I shan't rely on them for recording stuff though in case I get another failure like NCIS on 56 last night. Luckily I can watch that on the firestick. But I shall stick to the non HD versions of 4+1 and 47. What a palaver! I went down to 116 channels yesterday per the stats page and after it called for a retune this morning I am back to 129.
