There is constantly work going on. Impact of engineering works for the current week is detailed here: www.digitaluk.co.uk/operations/planned_engineering_works- it gives "Possible weak signal" for Crystal Palace. My situation is still the same, and will be till I raid the piggy bank for a new aerial.

I retuned my Humax pvr because it had been playing up and thought I had lost BBC News, BBC Parliament and Sky News, only to discover that I hadn't. The reason I couldn't find them at first was because they are now Freeview channels 231, 232 and 233 when they were previously 130, 131 and 132. I don't have any channels between 101 and 200 now. What I don't understand is the fact that those channels were working perfectly well on the old numbers up until the moment I reset the recorder which was for another reason entirely. Very strange.I get my signal from the Emley Moor transmitter.

I've now got ITV3 on channel 793. Why? Only the gods know.

I have just spotted that my Humax has lost all its recording reservations. It must have retuned itself.overnight. So any Humax owner might want to check they're still OK.

I had a message on my TV that there have been yet more changes, so I've had to retune again - hopefully all will be well, but it's bloomin' annoying

Then it should prioritise.

I kept getting an on-screen pop-up on my TV warning me of the forthcoming change (on 21st) so I was prepared. I'm still getting the warning, which is easy enough to get rid of (press the yellow button) but it's still annoying - hopefully it'll stop after a day or two. No warnings here, just suddenly no signal at quarter past midnight... unfortunately I didn't think of going to the Freeview website till after I'd assumed all sorts of problems just affecting my TV, aerial, freeview box - and did a rescan which left me with 6 channels Fortunately just a basic scan this morning was successful, in fact I seem to have more channels now! But not everyone will have had access to the website.. I suppose they thought we'd all be asleep ... not me, I was listening to the Paul Miller Show - posters in the South might know the one I mean..

I have lost a load of channels again, same ones as before. No reference to any work at Crystal Palace. I have asked various neighbours but we all seem to have different numbers and different channel lists so people do not seem to retune very often. One is still watching BBC News on 80. So my survey proved very little! I did find one person with the same as me over the road. Just have to wait and see if the wander back in like last time. I wondered about buying a signal booster but that seems ridiculous for London.

I've just switched on and when I clicked for channel 176 it came up as Unavailable. I have freeview so when I searched through the main Sky menu I noticed I've lost several channels and others are different.
Oh, I've just checked the main menu again and found 176 is now 128. Wonder if this is temporary? Unlike others I have had no warnings at all.
I remembered I'd seen this thread title but never read it! Have now!

I don't think you have free view, with a sky menu, sounds like sky freesat? And l posted about the changes on that last week. pointsofviewtoo.freeforums.net/thread/2526/sky-listings

Thanks Geoffers . . . read the link A tidy up then. I never know the channel numbers anyway . . I always trawl through them all when I'm flicking over during boring bits or adverts!
