Sky1’s four-part Dawn French fronted event drama Delicious will premiere on Friday December 30th at 9pm.
Delicious tells the story of Gina, a passionate cook was once married to Leo Vincent, a successful entrepreneur, chef & hotel owner in Cornwall.
Leo owes much of his success to Gina’s exceptional cooking, but since leaving her for the glamorous Sam, his business has continued to thrive. When Sam has suspicions that Leo is having an affair she confides in Gina, confident that she’ll recognise the signs. Only to later discover that it’s Gina herself who is the ‘other woman’.

I enjoyed it too, but I didn't like anyone  Why are there so many programmes these days that don't have any likeable characters in? |

An enjoyable start to series 2 I thought. Ian Glen still in it despite his character dying in series 1 episode 1, and now enter Franco Nero as Gina's father. Looks like Gina may be getting back with the father of her daughter (I notice Tanya Reynolds, who plays the daughter, was in Death in Paradise tonight). Sam is persuaded by her mother to take a certain course of action which could have had disastrous consequences for the important wedding the hotel was hosting. There's new boy Adam on the staff, maybe to pair up with an unattached female - Sam perhaps, or Gina's daughter. Plenty of promise for the series.
