Cinemax’s 1970s drama series Quarry will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Wednesday December 21st at 9pm. Quarry tells the story of Mac Conway, a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River. The eight episode drama series is based on the novels by Max Allan Collins and stars Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus), Jodi Balfour (Final Destination 5), Peter Mullan (Olive Kitteridge), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Luther), Damon Herriman (Justified), Jamie Hector (The Wire), Edoardo Ballerini (Romeo Must Die) and Skipp Sudduth (Ronin). Doesn't sound like my thing at all, and I don't have Sky, but I lurve Skipp Sudduth.
