Stuart Broad combined with Jos Buttler to create a bit of history in the final test against India. When he got Ashwin caught at gulley in the 171st over of India's innings, it was the first time in Test history that a wicket had fallen at 616 runs. In the mean time, England have never conceded more runs, and India have never scored more, but I thought I'd start off on a positive note for Stuart Broad. As a side note, coach Trevor Bayliss noted that "The last three catches we’ve dropped probably haven’t cost us a lot ... about 500 runs."

Oops.
4 - 0 as England lose six wickets for 15 runs, and eight for 81.

Geoffrey's in top form:
"Ludicrously stupid", "Atrocious", "Poor shot, poor thinking", "Stupid as you can think of", "Awful" ...
I think he's not impressed with the England batting line-up.

One final bit of history:
England made 477 in their first innings and lost by an innings, that is the highest score by any side suffering that fate.
As I say, one final bit of history unless, of course, there is another.
