Oh my, a Sky reporter has just said that Ronaldo's ego is so large that, when Real bought Bale, he asked them not to divulge that they had paid more for Bale than for him!!!!
Large but rather fragile it seems.

I would love to see them beat a very beatable Portugal who haven't yet won a match in normal time. Then they could do that wonderful quote of Terry Griffiths during his first Snooker World Championship win - "I'm in the final now, you know."  |

That has to be one of the worst penalty shoot outs I've ever seen. And I'm English.
I hope Germany don't get into the final cos they really don't deserve it.

I was rooting for Italy too but they didn't deserve it either! But Germany are in the semis regardless of whether they deserve it. I'd have happily settled for England scrambling there undeservedly.
Iceland play today. Can they do the impossible twice?
