Oh No! Poor old Iceland! I shall switch to The Musketeers now and they may have a change of luck.

Puts England's performance in perspective. All France has done is move the ball quickly and make space. Iceland defence has no answer to pace, Sterling and co. should have had a field day.

The passing from the back is superb by France. Cutting Iceland open constantly.

Iceland deserves a lot of credit, the attitude & workmate was brilliant in the second half which they won 2-1.

Very sad at the result but they had a very good run.

How some people in Scotland supported Iceland: ![http://i2.dailyrecord.co.uk/incoming/article8302481.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/Iceland.jpg](http://i2.dailyrecord.co.uk/incoming/article8302481.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/Iceland.jpg)

This isn't unusual with such players when they are the lone star of the team. Maradona springs to mind. It doesn't happen at Real with Ronaldo because there are other galacticos but you wonder whether he will be there much longer. He has always struck me as insecure and desperate for adulation.

Somewhere -- I was looking for it to add to the post -- I read an in depth comparison between how he gets on with his team mates in Portugal, and how Gareth Bale gets on with his team mates in Wales. Very different. If I find it, I'll post it. It made interesting reading. There was a lot about seeing yourself as being part of a team.

I would imagine that they are quite different, but then again, they are at different stages of their careers. Ronaldo in his pomp was a different player and I suspect a different person to the one we see in this tournament. Still it is nice to see Rory Smith get something right for once.

Oh No! Poor old Iceland! I shall switch to The Musketeers now and they may have a change of luck. I think if I watch a match,I may jinx my team(Wales). So I sit in the office and have the door open to the lounge. Then I can hear the commentary. I suppose we're daft to think our behaviour affects the results, but I still do it.
