Why, the electricity wasn't cut off, it would still be charged.
It was all very Agatha Christie, in fact I think it was probably a lift.

It was very Agatha Christie! I enjoyed it even though I worked the killer out very early. Didn't work out the exact reason but knew it would be something to do with the baby.
But it was fun noticing the Christie bits. Poirot often mentions that people think murder is a game.

I know the electricity was still on, but we never once saw them plugged into chargers. They were just sitting together in a shallow box.

I wonder if it aired on britbox or something. They are certainly advertising it as the 25th anniversary one and there is a special program beforehand for an hour interviewing current and former cast.
