Don't think anyone's mentioned the lambananas in Liverpool in 2008 ...smaller version of the Super lambanana, there were about 150 of them all over the city...I had a happy week celebrating a special birthday by searching for them! It's surprisingly addictive, once you get one you want them all. They're quite cute.

In Newport they did Dragons. They were great and raised a lot of money. This one my sister did.

Wow, Diziet sma, that looks great. I'm loving the dragons. I love these because it gets people out and about in their local city/town, they're fun to create and add a bit of art in a fun way to the place. Birmingham had owls which were really good because of the shape of them you couldn't really climb on them. There is a sign at the bottom of the dragons saying not to climb on it, but you just know someone will put a child up there or someone who's a bit worse for wear will think it can fly!

Oh yeah.... I bet loads of people sat on that on a Saturday night! It's like the Bull in the centre of Birmingham. It's really hard to climb on cos it's so smooth and shiny but it doesn't stop people trying!

There's a new one starting in July in Birmingham called The Big Sleuth. It's based on bears (a pack of bears is a Sleuth!) I've been to their website but I can't find a trail map of where the bears are located. www.thebigsleuth.co.ukAnd on at the moment in WOlverhampton is Wolves of Wolves, 30 wolves dotted around the city. www.wolvesinwolves.co.uk

Sounds good!
I retuned my TV today and I've lost the channel! Which is a shame cos I used to watch it quite often. It had good local history and music.

Well if I retune my freeview box and as there's a fault with it, it occasionally freezes or switches off and on again, all the retuned channels disappear. So thats Made In, Spike, Horror Channel, ITV4. Quite a few actually. I thought Made In...was supposed to be for the region, but I looked at the guide recently and it was storage Wars, Ru Pauls Drag Race, America's Got Talent?!

I know, it's not regional. I did a double take as I couldn't believe that it would be on a small station like that, I don't know how they afford it...unless my freeview box is more screwed up than I thought!

It's back! I retuned yesterday and got the channel back. And there's new Streets of Birmingham to watch. I'm watching the one in Erdington which is fascinating for me as I know little about that side of the city. It's a lot older than I thought it was!
