I've just used hemline paper-backed fusible web - for now at least. I did one previously, but the outline wasn;t as complicated and stitched around the edges as well with machine embroidery thread which matched each colour. The middle bits don't seem to have lifted, even though it's been in the washing machne 5 times, so I'm hopeful the new one will stay stuck. I'll find out when I wash it.

I've washed it at 30 degrees in the washing machine and it's still attached. I intended to do some machine embroidery on a couple of T-shirts and actually use my embroidery machine, having collected hundreds, if not thousands of machine embroidery designs, mostly for free, but as I haven't got a room where I can set everything up and leave it I've got to be in the mood to bpther setting it al up and that mood hasn't hit me yet.

Found some really good YT channels for finding out to fit clothes properly. I also found this channel from a woman who researches and makes historical clothing. I like it because she explains why you use a certain stitch for a certain purpose. She's also quite sarky in a humourous way so I like listening to her.

I've started to learn how to make patterns that fit me so there won't be some much fannying about with adjustments on the commercial ones. Just made a bodice today and didn't realise before exactly how high-waisted and low-hipped I am. No wonder I can't find trousers to fit properly!

Dear oh lor. When there's not much space between your armhole and your waist, it's bloody hard to find somewhere to put the bust dart!

Ok, I know boasting isn't what we Brits do but ..... I'm so amazed at myself.... I just inserted a pocket into an old pair of trousers and it worked! And it's knit fabric! Ha!
