I loved Gravity! Yes the plot was simple and the dialogue crap but the views! They were amazing! And yeah, Clooney helped. On the shelf and still haven't watched it!

They took a lot of the background from Space Station film and it looks amazing! I wish I'd seen it at the cinema. We live on a truly beautiful planet.

My choice would be Gregory Peck Can't think of any film of his I don't like... Favourite is probably To Kill a Mockingbird, but for a lighthearted viewing, Roman Holiday

I agree about Mr Hanks
and for me I would add Tom Hardy Paddy Considine Jennifer Lawrence
I used to feel the same about DeNiro and Brad Pitt (great actors both) but they stopped trying and started doing any old crap. Shame.

Shame. Brad in a Tank....is very good - but yes, most of his resent films, crap......love Jennifer, but more when she is being interviewed.

A recent WW2 film called Fury about a tank unit. Very good is it too. Might have been doing Mr Pitt a disservice a lot of his films are pretty good TBF

That's a good film. Speaking of which I could add Francis Macdormand to the list of must see actors. Cant remember her ever being in something bad.

Lawrence Olivier for me - even The Prince and the Showgirl Fantastic as Air Marshall Hugh Dowding in The Battle of Britain. Standing looking out at England at the end is one of my favourite great moments in films.
