I agree that Tom Hanks is a big draw for me and Meryl Streep (even if I can't quite forgive her for Mama Mia) and Helen Mirren.

Has to be Hoffman and Hanks for me and Bette Davis in her day.
Not forgetting Henry Fonda, Twelve Angry Men is one of my favourite films.

Male = Robert DeNiro. Female = Brenda Blethyn Oh yes I love Brenda Blethyn, she seems lovely in RL too. She seems to get a bit overlooked as just being a TV actress. Bit she's done around 20 films I believe. 'Secrets and Lies' being my fave.

Christopher Plummer. Yes, I'll even sit through "The Sound of Music" if it is on, I have nothing else to do and he is doing a "Brosnan".

Male - Tommy Lee Jones. Female - Susan Sarandon. If you're talking handsome, then Hugh Jackman. I also like watching old black & white films with the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Barbara Stanwyck, Basil Rathbone, Bette Davis etc.

If we're talking phwoarr then Hugh Grant walking out of the lift in Bridget Jones Diary. They could just show that for 90 minutes.

Another vote for Tom Hanks here, he's such a brilliant actor, Forrest Gump is a masterpiece in my opinion. I love Helen Mirren and Maggie Smith too and will watch almost anything with them in it, apart from Harry flaming Potter for the latter.
