Bad news. Andrew "name dropper" Castle has been hired by Eurosport

Tried to watch the rerun of Murray's match this morning. Gave up after the first set due to the amount of crowd noise from the stadium and Castle's constant inane ramblings.

Have to say the US Open is my least favourite tournament to watch.

Oh b*gger. Castle's commentating on Kyle Edmond's match along with Chris Bradnam who also doesn't know when to shut up.

He keeps burbling on even when the ball is in play. He was with Pat Cash the other day and neither of them knew when to zip it.

I agree about Simon Reed. I also like Peter Fleming as a commentator. I have noticed (during Wimbledon and Queens) he didn't appear to get on with Castle, was picking him up on a lot of things.

The way Castle goes on about his tennis career, you'd think he was a real whizz! His highest ranking was 80. The furthest he got in singles at a grand slam was third round at the US Open. He did better at doubles (semis at the Aussie Open).

I cannot stand all the chit chat, bring back Dan Maskell and those of his ilk.

Even Andrew Castle would be OK if he just stuck to commentating on the match in hand and not filling in every second with inanities.
