Went out after Murray won the first set. Couldn't believe it's still going on when I came back in. A very tight fifth set at the moment. Murray in meltdown. Got a feeling Nishikori is going to sneak this.
SHUT UP MCENROE.

Oh blimey! Murray's out of the US Open. All credit to Nishikori. He played really well.

A totally different Andy to the bloke who beat Dimitrov. Good win for Nishikori though. Absolutely agree about Mac. They just won't shut up will they.

We still have one Murray in the tournament. Jamie is playing in the men's semis with Bruno Soares at the moment. Up against the French no. 1 seeds.

...of you think the TV commentary is bad then stay away from BBC Radio 5 Live if you wish to remain sane..asking some ex-player pundit a question just as a player is about to serve and getting the answer over the next two rallies so the poor listener is totally ignorant of what's currently going on should be a capital offence....and he continued to do the same thing throughout the match....well..up to the final 10 minutes because I just had to switch off.....what happens when they step into the CB.....why do they go out of their way to ruin it for the listener...and viewer

The men's doubles final is on Eurosport from 5.00 pm today. Would love Jamie Murray to win another slam. He and Andy would then have three each.

It would be great wouldn't it. So it looks like Wawrinka and Djokovic in the final. Sad, I was hoping it would be Andy.
McEnroe wasn't impressed with Monfils performance At one point calling him "unprofessional" and his play "one of the greatest lack-of-effort matches in the semifinal of a major that I've ever seen."

For once I agree with Mac. Monfils didn't turn up. His explanation was that he used those tactics to put Djockers off. Yeh right!

Well done Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares. US Open champions. They've won two grand slams this year. A wonderful achievement seeing as they only paired up at the beginning of this year.
Wonder if Andy was watching his big brother?

What a super match. They played really well. Well done to them both I'd like to think Andy was watching. Davis cup this Friday. Looking forward to that.

Great match - well done to Murray and Soares. I am also glad Serena Williams didn't get through...I have never enjoyed watching her; unlike her sisters, who is delightful.
I do hope Kerber and Pliskova give us a good match....I'm pretty sure they'll entertain us this evening.
I am a Wawrinka fan so I hope he'll beat Djokovic....but it's unlikely. Sometimes I do wonder if some of Djokovic's opponents throw matches on purpose....just saying....
