Johanna Konta was so unlucky to lose the Women's title. Lost 6-4,6-2.. That is not unlucky, that is beaten on the day by a better player. She was well behind in the first set, caught up, and then had an unlucky miss-hit into the net which lost her the set.

In my defence I didn't see the match so didn't know the score.

Pleased to see Konta is in the top ten Have been watching the Shanghai Masters on Sky Mix...it's brilliant having no Castle or Petchy doing the commentary.

Djokovic was knocked out yesterday and had a hissy fit, tore his shirt off and walloped his racket on the ground. His game is going to hellion a handcart at the moment. Well done Andy for winning the Shanghai Masters.

I saw Djockers' tantrum before Murray's match today. He should have been fined for that. Disgraceful. Something is definitely amiss.
Would love Andy to get the no. 1 spot.

Seems like Nadal has ruled himself out for the rest of the season. Wrist isn't properly sorted.

You couldn't make this up: Svetlana Kuznetsova hacked off part of her own hair at a changeover as she beat defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska at the WTA Finals. She cut her thick plait in half with a pair of scissors.

Looks like Kyle Edmond is out for the rest of the season with a hip injury. He's just had to retire against Ferrer in Vienna.

Oh, that is a shame for him as I think he beat Ferrer last week (or possibly the week before).
I am a bit of a Ferrer fan though, so happy for him. Unfortunately he is well outside the top 10 at the moment and so won't qualify for the O2 tour finals this yr. It's a pity cos I don't get that many chances to see him play! gaah

Poor Kyle, but he has had a very good season.
I see Jammie Murray has been awarded an O.B.E.

Well done Jamie. He's achieved a lot for doubles in his career, always in Andy's shadow.

Andy through to another final. A walkover because Ferrer was sadly injured.

Andy has beaten Tsonga in the final. Not at no. 1 yet though.

... Not at no. 1 yet though. Nearly there! EDIT: He's made it after Raonic withdraws from the match. Well done Andy.
