He has, yes, Miranda. Silly boy!
Very surprising defeat for Djokovic, but I think the thing is his opponents used to regard him as invincible, which meant they were half beaten before a ball was hit. Now they think they have a chance, and with nothing to lose, they can take a lot of risks. He only needs to be having a slightly off day or get off to a poor start and then things spiral from there.
Plus, maybe he is missing having Becker in his corner.

Also the current men's doubles champions (Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares) are out, beaten by Querry and Young of the US. Andy meets Sam Querry in the singles next.
Watching Nadal v Baghdatis at the mo. Nadal looking in good shape.

I wish I could watch. A lovely sun-drenched court would be a welcome sight, no matter who was playing. I've always had a soft spot from Baghdatis, since that Aussie Open final he played against Federer in the mid 00s.

Unfortunately Nadal finished him off in three straight.
BBC2 are showing some highlights from Saturday to Friday on BBC2 next week around tea time.

Ooh, good! I haven't got my TV listings for next week yet. Thanks for the heads up! I hear Heather went out 10-8 in the 3rd having had 5 match points. She will be gutted. gaah

Glad to be of service.
Murray safely through. Evans one set up against Tomic. Evans served for the second but choked. Now he's got to serve for a tiebreak. Nervy stuff. C'mon Dan!
Fabulous win for Dan Evans in three sets. He hustled and never gave up. Tsonga next.

Those Aussie fans are not gonna be pleased with Tomic. Brilliant win for Dan.

Another fabulous two straight win for Johanna Konta over Caroline Wozniaki.
Great match on at the mo between Nadal and Zverev. Just into the fifth set. Nadal with a break.

More treats tomorrow both Murray and Evans in action.
The scheduling at this tournament is crazy. Dimitrov and Gasquet had to wait until near on midnight to start their match. I wouldn't be able to function at that time of night.

I know! It's not good for the body either, to be working out at full strength at that time in the diurnal cycle. Plus, it must be a pain for some of the spectators if they have work the next day. I suppose, on the plus side, it is cooler.

Oh no! Murray out of the Aussie Open. Beaten in four by Misha Zverev (brother of Sasha who took Nadal to five yesterday). Looks like Evans is on his way out too. Just Johanna Konta left flying the GB flag. Who would have thought it.
Federer and Nadal must be rubbing their hands in glee. Although Fed has a toughie against Nishikori coming up soon. Wawrinka is through as well.
