I enjoyed this week's episode, in that I actually understood it for a change. I didn't find the blackmail storyline out of place or even unusual. I do wonder what's going to happen with Maia's parents who at the moment seem to be reconciled. He's still a crook though, unless it's his wicked brother who is the real crook.

Just found this on page 95 of next weeks Radio Times for June 1st.
Seems at odds with some of the opinions expressed here.

Good episode last night, with Dylan Baker hamming it up gloriously as Colin Sweeney. I do like the habit, which they've retained from The Good Wife, of recurring guest stars who don't outstay their welcome but are familiar faces when they appear. I'm surprised this series is only 10 episodes, instead of the usual 22 or so for a US season. But it's good news that it's coming back. I hope Maia finds some throat lozenges in the meantime.

What a total drip that Maia is though! Why is she defending her Dad who tried to record her? And why is she not totally appalled by them and their Ponzi scheme rather than doing this whingeing? I think she is the worst one in the whole show. Having said that, I did enjoy last night's episode despite her glazing over and reminiscing mid interview!

What a total drip that Maia is though! I was going to say more or less the same thing but you got there before me. I'm very disappointed in the series.

What a disappointing end to a lacklustre series. I cannot believe that someone from the FBI would plug a flash drive in to a Government computer and thus infect the whole network with a virus. I know from personal experience that the Police in the UK are not allowed to plug in anything that is not already police property for exactly that reason.
Very, very strange in that scene towards the end with Diane and the black lawyer sitting in an office looking out of the window at an illuminated building when supposedly, the whole electricity system for the city was down.
I suppose that the next season will concentrate a lot on the annoying Maia, another reason for not bothering to watch it.

Well, at least it ended with closure on her awful father revealing what a louse he is, prepared to sell her down the river to avoid a prison sentence himself.
It always used to amuse me in The Good Wife that they could be called into court at any time and it appeared to be five minutes away. Same happens here. I appreciate we can't have screen time devoted to people travelling back and forth, but there is no sense of the passage of time to get from home to court to office and back again.
I enjoyed it on the whole and will tune in next series. Nice to see Diane and Kurt back together again.

That father! And Maia is conflicted about not being loyal to him? What an idiot that girl is. Hopefully she will be banged up for the next series. No visitors so we don't have to see her! It amused me that her performance review brought up the criticism I have of her. Be bolder.... which I translate as stop being such a drip!
Very pleased to see Kurt and Diane at the end!

No no no, dad's dead. The mum and / or Uncle Jax has killed him. That's what I assumed anyway. Poor Maia thinks he's betrayed her, but ..........
I've really enjoyed this series, but you're spot on about the flash drive...... oh here's a USB with malware on it, I'd better plug it in....
Glad Kurt is ok.

I am somewhat undecided about this, cant warm to luca at all, maia's voice is really annoying, not sure why julius is in it if he is leaving.
enjoying the bits with diane and kurt her assistant.

More4 have picked up the UK rights to the second season of The Good Fight.
The deal C4 and CBS signed earlier this year covered multiple seasons of the show. The second season of The Good Fight is expected to premiere in 2018.

For anyone interested here's an interview with Christine Baranski that gives some clue as to the use of the F word:

I have just watched the first episode of series 2, and I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh out loud a few times.

I have just been watching my recording and it cut out after 59 mins! I got as far as Maya talking to her dad on the phone. What happened?
