Well done Laura Muir. Double gold medallist at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in the 1500m and 3000m. Elish McColgan won a bronze in the 3000m. We also won gold in the men's 60m

...wow....just endured 2 and a half hours of Foster/Cram witterings during the Womens marathon....do I get a medal......well done the Scot finishing fourth in the mens....best ever by a Brit....

BBC coverage is awful, they didn't show the 10k ceremony, 20 mins ago (it was on Eurosport) and the Women's Pole Vault started 10 mins ago on, you guest it ....Eurosport. |

It's all a bit odd about this athlete being barred from the stadium isn't it? But at least this commentary team are talking about it and being quite questioning, unlike say Wimbledon where we always used to joke there was no controversy too big for Sue to ignore! Earlier I half heard Michael Johnson come out with a conspiracy theory (didn't quite hear it all) and I thought Paula was going to fall off the sofa she seemed so stunned that he dared to say it.
If the poor chap does have the norrovirus I am amazed if he would want to be out on a running track! When I had it there was only one place I wanted to run to!!!!! But the Botswana manager said he was OK and No one had tested him. Seb needs to get on the telly!
Talking about medals, I may well be wrong but when I saw the medals table last night I didn't see China on it. Are they doing even worse than we are?

My BiL had norovirus a couple of years ago. He spent nearly 3 days no more than 10 feet from the bathroom!
