I have just moved over some photos and found a lot from my garden on the flat I used to share with my ex. God I miss that garden! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows what any of the plants are called? Garden plants

Not sure about the mauve with bitterfly.
If the leaves are heart shaped it's lilac, if they're oval and not very shiny, it's buddleia (the known as the butterfly bush).
Delicate yellow could be Rose of Sharon

That purple one is a buddleia. The butterflies adored it. I used to get loads when it was in flower. Rose of Sharon sounds very romantic. If you assume it's Sharon in Jerusalem and not Tracey's best mate!

I think Rose of Sharon is also known as St John's Wort

Ok, one more! I went to Asda today and bought some plants. (I only went to get some milk. Anway...) I bought some pansies and some violas and a thyme and a oregano and this thing in the photo. It says perennial on the pot. It's obviously two bulbs. I think possibly lilies? But without knowing what they are, I don't know where to plant them.

Could be a day lily.

I agree, these are very hardy and grow well and reach a height of around 30/35 inches. The ones I know are a tawny orange colour, not sure if there are other colours too. And of course each bloom does last just a day, but they do keep coming.

Cool. So they are alright to put outside? Pretty much anywhere?
