Another good episode tonight. The scene between Laurel and Ashley could've gone into Aussie soap territory but they played it just right, letting us know that it was a dream and having humour as well as pathos. I can see why Emmerdale got a Bafta nod. I believe John and Charlotte did that 'television' dream scene in one take. What a sad episode though...I'll miss Ashley. |

It seems John Bowe who plays Lawrence White is leaving. He's been on Twitter saying it's not his choice. It's a shame as I think he's been a really good actor in the show when he's been given decent stories. And I liked the blossoming romance between him and Ronnie. I only hope he gets a happy ending but as this is soap land and his family is Rebecca, Chrissie and the newly released and slightly psychopathic Lachlan I doubt it. |

I hope they do get rid of the rest of the family, because lawrence is the only one I like out of them and I can't stand Lucky and Chrissie is a caricature. But I can't see it as they seem to love lachlan especially now he's out of prison and seems to have spent his 24/7days pumping iron, so as they don't have Any now I think they'll want to keep lacklan, even though he's not the best actor |

I don't know. I think it was more a kiss because Marlon thought he was losing Carly and was a little upset and confused. But now Carly has gone maybe it could lead to something in future because they do have a history and they get on really well and they bring out the best in each other. I just think it could be too soon for both of them at the moment so soon after Ashley and Carly.

Well, as a crafty devious lawyer he will know exactly how to play this.
I can't believe that Paddy and Marlon who have known Rhona for years...were so gullible as to believe his lies.
I am looking forward to poisonous Pierce's mother returning and us finding out a lot to his nasty back-story.

Last night's was all a bit stupid.
Gun just picked up,knock on head,turn on engine,knows how to close garage,goes away.
Kid turns up find gun,does not hear engine,wanders to side window ,just happens to notice car,breaks window, opens garage,man is helped out.
Baddie then mysteriously re-appears for some reason and runs off.
Police don't get called, because this is soapland, but are at door anyway.
No-one says a word.

Lachlan did hear the engine, that's what made him go to the window to check and that's when he saw his Grandfather. Lawrence didn't want the police involved because of the secret about Chrissies real father. The police turned up because Nicola called them regarding the missing gun. It's a bit far fetched, but thats soaps for ya. I think the Whites are going.
I read that Chrissie and Lachlan are leaving and Larence is being killed off, so that means Ronnie will be leaving, as without Lawrence there ain't much point in him being there.

I'm glad Pierce was found guilty and that Rhona did it herself, if that makes sense, and didn't need Paddy riding to the rescue.
Although I am a bit concerned with her saying 'It's over' probably means it isn't!

Very good episodes this week.
The rape trial showed Emmerdale writing and acting at it's best (it hadn't been very good since the demise of Ashley)
Hope to goodness Poisonous Pierce doesn't lodge an appeal
