The showjumping was very exciting, right up to the last rider.

Burghley is live on BBC Two! It started at 14:30 but we haven't missed anything cos the first 20 mins has been chat.

What is going on with the BBC? Enjoying the cross country and then we suddenly get 10 mins on what a lovely life Piggy French is having this year. Well.... that's all very nice for her but why should we care? The audience wants to see the horses in action!
FFS BBC Sport is getting worse and worse.

Yes, I recorded this (hopefully after last night's episode with the recorder) and some actual riding starts at minute 28. Do they think it makes it seem friendlier and less elitist if they pad it out with interviews and tours of the course?

I don't know. It's getting to ridiculous proportions now. Nobody watches sport for the chat.

Just watching Jockey's Competition at Olympia. Never seen this before, it's part of the Christmas Cracker on iPlayer. ETA: This is really good fun! And it's Boys v Girls so I'm impressed that there is now enough top female jockeys to make a Girl's team! And Clare is giving AP McCoy some right stick!

Watched the Puissance which was brilliant. Now watching today's showjumping. Unfortunately it's what was on BBC 2 earlier so there was 20 minutes of chat to start with. I wish the BBC would realise no-one watches sport for the chat.

This year's Xmas show has started! Just started tonight is the Driving World Cup. I don't normally see this as am looking forward to it. The full version is on iPlayer.
