What happened to the cat was totally unnecessary Totally agree, that did upset me. I enjoyed the first episodes, thought it went downhill ( i.e. the storming of the police interview and its subsequent aftermath), but decided it had picked up again with this last episode. That was certainly a bombshell at the end!

I lost patience with it to be honest, I find them really irritating and the frantic rushing about, the frequent disasters annoy me. I’ve got a couple recorded but I’m not sure I can be bothered to watch them.

I’d love to know how they cleaned up that kitchen without getting a single smudge on them and all with just a couple of J Cloths.

I found the whole thing woefully lacking in many areas and thoroughly disappointing ☹️ and I had such high hopes for it but couldn’t be bothered to watch any more

The trouble is, like reading a book, I feel I have to find out how it finishes!

The Telegraph critic describes this as over dramaticised which I agree with but I still keep watching to see how it ends. I have an idea how that will be....we'll see! At least I don't find the main characters as unlikable as those in Loves, Lies and Records so, silly though it is, it's an easy, relaxing way of spending the time before bedtime.

They just seem to lurch from one disaster to another, losing jobs, crashing cars, murdering husbands, fires, pregnancy, child abduction, knife attacks, heart attacks... it’s exhausting !

Anyone else stick with this to the end? It descended further and further into farce and I really don't know why I bothered.

I’ve got the last episode recorded, I’ll have to watch it to see how it ends but I can’t say I’ve enjoyed it.

It looks like it’s being set up for a second series.

My one thought, and I will put it in a spoiler for those who haven’t watched it.... {Spoiler} But if they put the body in a suitcase and tipped it over the cliff, when it washes to shore it will cause a major murder investigation, but if they had tipped the body over the cliff, not in the case, then it would be a case of “drunken man falls over cliff in the night”.
