Flight HS13. Channel4, Tuesday April 24 at 9.00.
I think this is on for the whole series!
This is a Dutch remake of a Turkish show. The father from a perfect family with a perfect life leaves for a conference in Barcelona on Flight Hs13 which crashes with no survivors. However he is not on the passenger list.....

Thanks for this Marion - I hadn't spotted it while flicking through the RT. I'll give it a try. It will definitely air weekly on C4, I read. The Turkish original was called 'Son': www.imdb.com/title/tt2189801/- and is available from Netflix under the title 'The End'. It seems this is one of several remakes - Germany, France, Russia and Spain have each had their own go at it, and the US started work on a remake but that got cancelled. I expect Walter has picked the best one!

Flight HS13 - if like me you were wondering where it's gone next week, it's on later at midnight - and the week after, later still at 12.30 am.

For goodness sake! Shades of The Americans then which has gone from 10.00 to 12.55! Do they do this because if you are hooked you will follow it, or because the audience was low and the.prime slot must go to a better show? Well I say better show.........

On the plus side, at that time of night there aren't so many adverts... - this week's timeslot was 1 hour, next week it's 55 minutes, and the week after only 50 minutes which is hardly time for any adverts at all.

Flight HS13 I don't know about anyone else but I am getting mighty annoyed with Liv. I know she is in a terrible situation but she is toying with one brother in law and has insisted on help from the other which has resulted in his suspension. I think she is a bit of a cow! I didn't like Alex.much in all previous episodes but she had my sympathy this week. Obviously Liv and Simon were the golden couple in that family.
The chopping off of the hand! I thought it was just a scare at first and then he raised the stump......

It seems both sisters-in-law have seen through Liv and don't like her. I have to admit she's coming over as manipulative.
The hand scene was gruesome! Did they say they "needed it" - if so, why? For the fingerprints, to unlock something with fingerprint security (but it was his left hand), or just to prove to someone that they're holding him?
The young Iranian lad has now successfully escaped. Will Liv's son recognise him from his earlier escape attempt, when the two siblings - by a huge coincidence - almost met as Liv and S-I-L walked in the woods?

I missed any reference to the hand being needed for something. Mind you if it occurred during the actual scene, I would easily have missed it as I was barely able to watch!
Rough Justice. This finished yesterday and I have quite enjoyed it. But wasn't that leading actress very flat? She barely seemed to show any emotion when seeing pictures of her girlfriend being held prisoner. And she decided she wanted the baby but was very downbeat about it, well about everything really. I thought the cases they handled were quite interesting but it didn't really need the blackmail subplot to maintain interest.

Rough Justice: I've quite enjoyed it too, though I'm the opposite - often I was more interested in the "niska@heaven" thread than the murder case of the week. Yes, she does come over as very emotionless - even more so than Saga in 'The Bridge'.
Talking of which, both Liese and Saga are pregnant and have now decided to go through with it. Liese though hasn't even told Fabian (has she?). At least with Saga, Henrik wasn't left in the dark, having the news broken with "I'm pregnant. But I'm going to get rid of it."!
I thought the end was leaving the door open for another series but I can't find any suggestion there will be one. She might as well sell the drum kit - she didn't play it much towards the end anyway.

Flight HS13
Well by now about the only one I actually like is Erik! And I am glad he told Haje and Liv where to go. I hope he doesn't lose his job.
I found it all a bit confusing when Haje referred to the crash killing his uncle, aunt and cousin. Aren't he and Simon brothers? I thought Erik found them after the crash and Simon and Haje were adopted into Erik's family. Did I imagine that? And has Haje really driven away and left the woman in the cabin? What a git!
Kevin's hand seemed to turn up with no letter or threat which I found most odd.

I couldn't remember properly who are real brothers and who was adopted. According to the write-up by the production company (Column Film), Erik and Haje are brothers and Simon is their cousin - who was adopted into their family after being the sole survivor of the accident which killed his parents and his twin brother: columnfilm.com/en/portfolio_page/flight-hs13/I didn't understand why Haje walked away from the cabin at the end - I expected him to bash the door down and get her out.

Thanks G Man. I am amazed that Erik and Haje are the two brothers.

Finished watching Flight HS13. Overall it wasn't bad I thought, with a fairly satisfactory ending and only a couple of significant casualties.
I'm getting into The Swingers series 2 now on the All4 player, also a Dutch production - I liked series 1, in which the actress playing Liv in Flight HS13 had a major role. She's not in series 2 though. The title is misleading and the original Dutch one translates as New Neighbours - I don't know what was wrong with that, didn't sound sexy enough I suppose.

I just finished Flight HS13 and agree it had a reasonable ending. However, what a ghastly family! I think by the end I only liked Eric's wife, downtrodden skivvy for Liv that she was. All the rest were either manipulative, devious or, in the case of Erik, far too easily led. I don't think I would have reacted in the same way as any single main character! I loved the way Liv (as you can tell I had no time for her by the end!) told Haje that if he wasn't family she would never see him again..... she was quite happy to screw him a few episodes ago!
