Great to see some old favourites. The only one I didn't recognise was the one who had a daughter called Jenny (??) Very good episode.

Well said Charlie....I'm sick of your posturing...to Jacob. Aren't we all? Then this Kai, the kid who caused the "accident". Well did anyone else yell out you little f****r at the TV? And Grace is TEN? I thought she was about 14! I was a bit bemused at the glossing over of the accident. It killed the pilot (was there a co-pilot, too?) and possibly the man on the ground hit in the head by debris. For a hopeful moment I thought Cal might be done in by a cartwheeling rotor blade...but, no. Ethan and the Former Dr Pink Hair Lily and Ian Loved the cameos and I did laugh at the "oldies" taking charge. But would Hanssen really ask Charlie to do the media thing? Seems unlikely. Every time I see Jac I'm transfixed by her completely stony face. Things don't look good for Fletch when Holby takes up the story.

It takes me back to the days of Dallas and Knots Landing when Bobby died and the story went over to Knots landing too, then when they brought Bobby back and the whole series of Dallas was said to be a dream that meant that the whole of that series of Knots landing must have been a dream too !!! so the producers of KL cut all ties with Dallas and their plots never crossed over again !!

That helicopter is doomed, I think. Yes I thought that , but not in that way That is why in real life the authority's don't want them ( Drones) near airports , if one got sucked into an engine intake either on landing or take off

It's a wonder Holby E.D. is still standing with the amount of accidents that have befallen it.I just hope I am never a patient there,it's an Elf and Safety nightmare.Helicopters crashing, gunmen at large some weeks, staff who just take off midshift, just what you need when you're sat there with piles.

Well I watched Holby because the plot continued... Well I must have blinked then. I didn't know who anyone was except for Fletch and a second of Connie, so my enjoyment was a bit limited, to say the least. That nasty woman driver is on a ward, and the hospital has just reopened. There was one patient with mental health issues and I thought he was the pilot but he was walking wounded. They are now doing a Back To Ours with Charlie and Duffy on the RB. One development. {Spoiler}Delusional man went after nasty woman driver with a screwdriver, Fletch intervened and helpfully turned his back on him to tend to woman, man stabbed Fletch, operation, critical condition.

Well I am confused. It looked to me as if this was an immediate follow-on from last week, but they said at the end if the epi that the story continues in Holby. So I watched it but I do not usually. It ended with Fletch stabbed by the madwoman and in dire straits. No reference whatsoever to that tonight! Plus is this Jac woman a big star in Holby as her arrival seems to be "significant" each time. Did anyone else think Grace had got a seriously deep suntan whilst in her coma? Also, I thought David was supposed to be a widower. Did I imagine that? too many questions, too much confusion after too much wine!

Jac is one of the villains of Holby - godlike surgeon with frozen personality. Ditto the other surgeon in tonight's ep, Mr Self.
Fletch is not a Casualty regular now, but a Holby one, so that's where his story will continue, I guess. Anyway, he's not being treated in A&E.
I was only half paying attention tonight - was Jacob really making Connie's preoccupation with her comatose child all about a personal rejection of him, or did I misundertand?

I don't think Jacob was being too egocentric tonight(for once!) but Connie rebuffed him and her ex was there so he maybe felt a bit of a spare part. I shall give him the benefit of the doubt.
And yes, I guess they will do Fletch's story in Holby BUT not one single person alluded to the stabbing! I mean, seriously, no gossip?

Yes, really good to see Sam again. I felt sorry for Jacob - he cares for Connie and Grace, but he's being kept on the outside a bit. Yes, Robyn departing is a good thing....let's hope we get an interesting character in her place this time....
