I loved their bit when Thomas was trying to think of a rhyme for 'Alison' and they were coming up with suggestions. 'That's a good one!' 'I said that 5 mins ago....'

The joke about the bright light was brilliant. I really though he was going to cross over, but no, it was just the builders removing the industrial strip lighting....

Another joyous episodes. The breakfast cereal. Mary getting to grips with filming a drama. The poet drop kicking the Elizabethan mans head in anger. The Captain having a crush on one of the crew.
"I won't miss him....them...."
Kitty keen to see the bedroom scenes....
Robin v the lights.
Delightful.

Is it just me that keeps expecting the husband to die in some mishap and join the band of ghosts?

Me too Beth. Or for someone to visit who's had a near death experience and for them to be able to see the ghosts.
I do like this show. I think I read that it was supposed to be shown earlier in the evening, I suppose Saturday or Sunday, hence it not being mega scary or sweary, but it then got changed to post watershed but it was too late by them to make changes. Personally I don't think it matters but I read comments elsewhere saying it's not adult enough and others that their kids would like it but it's on too late. I hope this doesn't affect future series.

I'm not sure it matters any more what time something is on. If you think your kids will like it, watch it on iPlayer.
This week's was hilarious. Mary is one of my favourite characters. How she interprets the world around her so a camera becomes a one-eyed cow. And the cereal being dead when it stopped talking.

Some of the sexual references - Lady Button's husband and the late MP - would be a bit spicy for younger children, but I suspect they would go over their heads as a rule. They would enjoy the slap stick moments and the popping through walls...
