Can't understand why they don't play best of 5 in the mixed. Feel short changed after that Andy/Williams match. Liked to have seen more.

I think everyone does. He was getting absolutely trashed on Twitter. Very rude. Fair play to her for pulling him up on it. I wondered if he'd lost a big bet, he was bitching and grumping so much.

I didn't see the interview, who was he? We heard the interview on the car radio but saw it on Youtube. She was right to quietly and respectfully challenge him. It's always easy for the press to criticise because they're not the other side of the net. If he had a conscience then her dignified reply should have shamed him. I doubt it though. |

I have found some of the post match interviews a bit too pushy, as well, but Konta was right to retaliate. I think these interviews should be banned - all they do is fuel any trolls out there to “have a go”. Some comments on articles in a certainly daily rag are quite unpleasant.

On the Mens Q Finals, our commentators are Johns Inverdale, Lloyd and McEnroe plus one other. I hope he is called John too, lol! I suspect it is Nick Mullins as he seems to be on all the time. Is he someone from the tennis world or is he a career journalist/ commentator? I have also heard Simon Reed on a few matches, which is always good. I fear we may get Boris for one of the remaining matches.
On the Andrew Castle front, amazing as this may seem, he has a weekend morning show on LBC radio and I find it quite enjoyable!I
Goffin is having a nightmare against Novak.

I didnt see much of it yesterday. I was sorry that Muchova lost as I really enjoyed her previous match and she seemed a good p!ayer with a good temperament. I didnt catch the Konta result until I got home last night either.
Goffin is now out and Pella having a nightmare vs Batista Augut.
Edit. Actually Pella is having a bit of a resurgence now so you never know....

How would you pronounce Goffin? As in coffin? McEnroe during one of his rambling chats with Sue Barker pronounced it Goe Finn.
Nishikori seems to be "in the zone".
EDIT: Phew. Although not over until the lady sings.
