Well what did we think? Sweet and cosy and sets up the next series very well. Will Tristan ever find out the truth, will Hugh kick Helen off the farm..........!

I enjoyed it, I like the cast very much Won't Tristan wonder why his certificate doesn't arrive?

Wasn't that lovely? The perfect start to Christmas and an antidote to all that's going on in real life.
Do we know for sure there will be another series?

I thoroughly enjoyed the festive episode except for the standing up the groom bit. We did not see what happened but I found the idea that Helen would let it go THAT far a bit unlikely. I know she did not have a lot of time having been marooned with James and the lovely elderly couple (and the puppies) but I like to think she would have sought Hugh out and talked to him.
However this is without a doubt one of the Christmas highlights for me. Delightful.
As was Tristan's elf costume and the nervous Seigfried trying to pluck up the courage to talk romantically to Dorothy.

Instead we’ve had two days of hardly anything worth watching on the BBC .....they've certainly surpassed themselves....totally threadbare....

I have noticed some of the films being repeated a couple of days later. Unheard of!

Instead we’ve had two days of hardly anything worth watching on the BBC Not just BBC. ITV gave us GMB, Lorraine and This Morning! I don't want to watch them the rest of the year let alone on Christmas day! It was like a normal schedule but with Christmas jumpers! And I like a game show as much as the next person but blimey, Tenable and The Chase yesterday, The Chase and Millionaire today. The films have been the obligatory animation from the BBC and the rest have been lacklustre. Some classics but ones that have been on a million times. I've always thought that years ago they'd put on Christmas specials as a treat for Christmas. And then they sort of stopped and started putting on these cheap shows, normal tv with a tree in the background, with the excuse that 'people don't watch TV at Christmas, they're too busy with family etc'. But if 2020's shown us anything there's a lot of isolated people who rely on TV for company and a lot more who's normal Christmas, visiting relations, has changed so they're at home. And what do we all get as a reward for an awful year, Piers Morgan and Philip Schofield! Merry f**kin' Christmas! ...a few high points like Gone Fishing, All Creatures Great And Small. But those have been few and far between.
