I think it won a couple of Oscars too which is rare for a romcom. Great theme song too.

Dances with Wolves. Such a brilliant film.

The ending makes me angry and sad at the same time.

And kudos to Kevin Costner for not including any graphic scenes of what the soldiers did when they eventually caught up with the Sioux. The epilogue text of what really happened is better than any sort of recreation which could be seen as fiction.
