This episode provided some answers.
The posse from Georgia have called ahead and asked the local cops in Tennessee to arrest Claude for his own protection until they arrive. Finding his brother in the local pokey without any charges or explanation causes Claude's brother to mouth off to the cops. Claude, who had been entertaining them with graphic depictions of the various pole dancers at the club tells his brother to calm down, its OK, they have been treating him well and it will all get straightened out. But the brother keeps poking at the cops, calling one "Forest Gump" to which the cop replies that is a compliment not an insult. Claude's brother get confused by this and lunges toward the cop, get tazed and wind-up in jail alongside Claude.
{SPOILER:Click to Show}The themes of this episode are 'Road Trip', 'Bad Policework' and the 'Benefits of Powerpoint.'
We begin with Jack, who stages a fake 911 call to the local police about an officer shot and in need of immediate assistance. This causes the cops who were at his flat looking for evidence and staking out his return to all rush out on the call. Jack then is then free to go into his flat and gather some things, such as the small arsenal of military grade automatic weapons and explosives he had hidden behind a fake wall in his bedroom closet. Guess the local cops missed that.
Jack is also able to get in his SUV and drive away to points unknown. Guess the cops didn't boot his vehicle or send it off to the police garage for CSI inspection either. (Ralph may need to ask his superiors to look into the police training program when this is all over.) The cops were even kind enough to leave Jack's police radio in the unlocked glovebox of his SUV so he could listen in to updates as he made his escape. He hears they have discovered his ruse and set an all points bulletin for his SUV and advise he is heavily armed and highly dangerous (though they don't add this is because they left the military surplus store in his bedroom closet intact). Jack needs a new car.
Jack heads into the woods (of course he does) and finds an unfortunate fisherman who is dispatched with one shot from Jack's hunting rifle. As Jack sits despondent over killing, we hear the remains being viscously devoured by an unseen creature. Jack steals the fisherman's SUV and drives off. He becomes more despondent when he sees a photograph on the rear view mirror of the fisherman with his wife and children.
Just then a tattooed hand emerges from the backseat and a whispery voice tells Jack to give it the photo (cant have Jack losing focus.) The unseen figure then says "I need to eat." When Jack says "You just ate" the whispery voice says "He was full of cancer. I need to eat again." Indicating the unheard beast devouring the poor fisherman is Jack's travelling companion, the entity, needing to feed to gain strength as it morphs into Claude. Jack shoots it a deer to eat.
Meanwhile, Holly holds another briefing about the entity (might be time to get that on Powerpoint Holly) and afterwards says she is going to Tennessee - even if it means going alone - so that she can be where the real Claude is when the next murder takes place and provide a credible witness that he was somewhere else when the doppelganger killed.
Luckily she doesn't need to go alone because others volunteer. Her boyfriend and Yunis drive together in one car and Ralph drives Holly in another. Some interesting banter ensues.
The lawyer and his personal PI are the only ones who stay behind. The PI says he feels guilty about not going, but the idea of tracking the entity gave him a PTSD flashback to his time in the Army in Iraq. The lawyer says don't sweat it, there were enough people going already. But in the end, the PI and the lawyer make the road trip to Tennessee as well. Leaving only Glory, her kids and Jeannie back in Georgia.
We meet Claude's brother. He is a lumberjack, and he's OK. He sleeps all night and drinks all day.

We meet Claude's brother. He is a lumberjack, and he's OK. He sleeps all night and drinks all day.
The brother is also an ex-con and has anger issues and some personal issues with the local cops.
Turns Claude's arrival coincides with a local "caves festival" in Claude's old home town where the brother still lives in the family home. The town, which is tiny and has "two bars, one diner and a bunch of caves," swells in numbers when loads of tourists arrive in caravans to holiday at the caves festival. One family includes a young boy...uh oh.

Granted this is a small town cop shop, but letting people just walk in and into the holding cell area where - the prisoner in question is sitting outside of his cell discussing strippers seems a little outside the box of proper procedure. Ah well, more fine police work on display.
The posse arrives and - in plain clothes and armed - walk straight back to the holding cell area without anyone raising an eyebrow and announce they are there to get Claude out of jail. Yunis, surprised that the cop hasn't even asked them who they are yet, pulls out his badge. When told he is out of his jurisdiction, he pulls out his mobile, makes a call and hands the phone to the cop. Who apparently believes the person on the other end is a big local judge and frees the prisoners into the posse's custody. More fine police work on display.

The posse camps out with Claude and his brother at their small shack of a home. Holly holds an explanation briefing with Claude and his brother about the entity and how it has chosen Claude as the new host (yeah, really time to put that briefing on Powerpoint Holly.)
That same night at the caves festival the little boy seen earlier is nearly abducted by a man wearing a scary mask. But the locals wrestle him to the ground and remove his mask and its...Claude.
The next morning, the local police come to arrest Claude and even have mobile phone footage of the festival goers roughing up the would-be-abductor and removing his mask to reveal it being Claude. They never explain why the Claude doppelganger wasn't arrested the night before at the festival. But given the fine police skills we've seen to this point, comes as no surprise I reckon.

The Georgia posse confirm Claude never left the house as they kept watch all night. So it couldn't be him who tried to abduct the boy. The police look baffled. Holly sighs as this means another explanation briefing (once again Holly, Powerpoint.)
Seems for the first time ever the host and doppelganger are in the same place at once. Now we know where Jack and his back seat companion were headed.
Two episodes remain.
