I would never have believed that the Windies would win a test by nicking ones and twos! Well played! Especially impressed by Blackwood, very sensible innings.

Shame it wasn't more exciting in the end, but a good match really, hopefully England will come back at Old Trafford...
Someone (Vaughan?) said today it was a shame the Barmy Army couldn't be there... frankly I regard their absence as a plus

Good to see the Windies showing they are technical players, excellent test.

OK early morning but when the booze hits home in the afternoon and we get the same relentless chant whatever's happening on the field it gets really annoying and boorish. England fans but not Cricket fans.

I'm so cross with Archer.
They must have been told over and over how important it was to obey the rules. This isn't the usual sort of misdemeanour when a player stays out drinking the night before a Test
I'm inclined to think he should just have been sent home today
Several people have talked about how much the WI players have given up/risked by coming over here. No one would have blamed them if the tour hadn't happened
Their very diplomatic captain declined to comment but they must be annoyed

Archer might miss the third test, as well.

Well he should have missed them all. It's not an accident to drive in the opposite direction, go into your flat, get some stuff and then turn around and drive to Manchester is it. It is a deliberate act. I can understand that he might have wanted some more clothes, books, playstation games or whatever, but he should have asked and found out if someone could DHL (or some other company) them to the Manchester address. Stupid and risky, the whole thing would be off if he had met someone infected at his flat.
Most of the Caribbean islands have had barely any cases and they don't want any either. If their cricketers got infected they'd have to stay here until they were well.
