I have been swimming in Loch Lomond. Only at the edge though. Darn cold!

I watched this last night and as usual, thoroughly enjoyed it. She is a very amiable presenter.
In the week I watched the new Sandi Toksvig vehicle, called something like Amazing Escapes?, where she goes to stay in stunning holiday lets with a guest. This week it was Alison Steadman. I learnt practically nothing about Alison as a lot of the chat seemed to revolve around Sandi. I also wondered at one point if it was a sponsored show to promote the actual lodgings. It was OK but nowhere near as good as Susan’s show.

I'm quite a fan of Sandi so watched her new show. I found it very disappointing.

I hadn't noticed that, and if I had I wouldn't have watched it with 'amazing' in the title.
I enjoyed Susan's series as ever though. Something in every episode had me laughing. Highlight for me I think was her impression of Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' in a red dress.

Glad I gave Sandi a miss. Not a fan anyway, so probably wouldn't have watched it.

I saw Sandi and it's a very different kind of travel. Enjoyable to see the inside of some very unusual and luxurious houses.
Will miss Susan's trips, and live in hope that she will someday do some more.

Susan is back. Her new series is a Grand Week by the Sea where she visits five resorts over five episodes. This on C5 nightly from Monday 28 June at 8.00. Hurrah! Although there is a slight caveat as she is joined by sleb at each location.

Good start to Susan's Grand Week by the Sea. Enjoyed her synchronised swimming attempt - "it seems I have some buoyancy issues"

She did indeed. I enjoyed this first episode. Lovely aerial shots of Norfolk too. She always takes such joy in whatever she presents. Her sandcastle turned out like mine used to. The Hippodrome was very interesting too, who would have thought Houdini played there. Brighton tonight.

I’m recording these, as Wimbledon is on now.

Another great episode. Zoe Lyons was her guest on this one. Two lovely ladies both with great senses of humour. Susan certainly throws herself into everything she does. I won't spoil it for you linseed, so won't give anything away.

I watched the first two last night and yes, I did enjoy them but I didn’t find them quite as good as her Scottish programmes. She was still a lovely presenter but perhaps it was the preponderance of seaside entertainment rather than history…. I don’t know but they were still good fun and I shall watch the rest.

Looking forward to it!
Did anyone watch 'Exploring Northern Ireland with Siobhan McSweeney' recently on More4 (now on All4)? Siobhan comes over as a sort of Irish version of Susan, with the slight difference that her interviewees get to crack some of the jokes.
