Yes, it's good so far. Susan's back on form after her Norway jaunt.

I like Susan Calman but I am honestly bored to death of all the celebs going to the same places all the time. There's a lot of areas but no, it's Cornwall, Wales, Yorkshire, Scotland every time.

Don't forget Northumberland, there must have been so many at Bamburgh Castle in the last 2 years that they could pool the film clips.
The Midlands don't get shown much and when you think of all the battles and castles, not to mention forests. Norfolk sometimes gets a Flog it, or something but Suffolk very rarely.
Doesn't anyone famous come from Shropshire!
I suppose that doesn't matter because some celebs have done the carribbean, which isn't a bad gig.
Even when they do the same part of the country who do they have to go to the same places. How many times are they in the same harbour and same beach???
Sometimes I'd like them to stay long enough to show us the whole place not just the hand made candle making.

There's some beautiful, historic and interesting places in the Midlands. Can't remember ever seeing them on one of these programmes. Oh sorry, sometimes they go through on a canal boat.

Yes and perhaps they do a pottery, but I think we both know that there's a lot more to the UK than Cornwall- I think it has a lot to do with the fact that lots of celebrities have a place down there, which means they know someone with a bar, pub, bistro, posh fish place or crafty shop that could do with a feature on the latest edition of Celebs and Posh People Big up their Pals.
It's always a giveaway when the brasserie they pop into is run by a couple of yahoo's called Barnaby and Jonty!

I enjoyed it. Better than the dreadful cruise version at least!

I'm watching and enjoying it. I didn't watch her Cruising series earlier on but I like her UK-based stuff.
There are supposed to be 12 episodes according to RT. I shall be most surprised if we get all those without any sudden breaks. C5 have been up to their usual tricks this week with 'Natural History Museum: World of Wonder' which I've been following. Printed RT, and up to a couple of days ago EPG listings also, said it's supposed to be episode 3 of 4 tomorrow, but it's suddenly been replaced with an 'Ambulance Code Red'. Ho hum.

She’s back yet again! Susan Calman’s Summer by the Sea, starts Friday 28 July at 8.00. It says it’s a new series but the RT says it’s her first trip to seaside resorts round the UK. Well, she’s done that before hasn’t she? The first one is to Clacton so let’s hope it is new.
Ive just read back and it was A Week by the Sea which doesn’t appear to have included Clacton, so 🤞.

She’s back! The new series started yesterday at 9.00. This times its various English cities I believe, starting in Liverpool. I don’t know if she goes to Scotland and Wales though.
