Chicken bricks were the thing to have in the 70s I think. I have never used one but thought I would rather like one after seeing last week's programme.
Jodie's wolf was my favourite water feature. I do have a bit of a thing for wolves anyway but she did capture it very well I thought. I felt so sorry for Hannah who I would love to see become the overall winner but at least it all ended well for her.
I also thought the wrong one went last week and that it should have been him.

Had a message this morning from a friend who is in a huff about one of the two sent home last night. I was sorry to see both of them go but what on earth were they thinking about by not sticking to the brief and in the quarter final too?! It was made quite clear beforehand that the pots had to be the traditional shape and they both chose to ignore the instruction so I think the judges made absolutely the right decision.

The potter of the week made a lovely item. It was beautiful wasn't it? Both in shape and decoration too. I am full of awe for these very talented people. I would actually rather like to own the origami-based bowl as I thought that was beautiful too .... but it wasn't what was asked for! |

Her party set was beautiful. A worthy winner The other two should be very proud of themselves, particularly Peter who had progressed so much. He has a devoted support group at home doesn’t he  I’ll miss the programme, it’s been lovely to watch quietly on a Sunday evening |

There's a repeat of series 2 on Really at the moment, Tuesday at 9 pm, started last week.. I hit it by chance scrolling through channels.

Not sure I agree with the winner this week. I preferred the Duck and the Fox.
