This has changed channnels to C4 now. With host Siobhan McSweeney, and judges Keith Brymer Jones and Keith Miller. Not really my cup of tea, so will not be watching.

It's the same company that make Bake Off, isn't it? I thought last year's series was on C4 too?

Me too, they do get asked to do amazing things - last time included a working toilet. They’ve also done garden statues, chandeliers, and things fired in outdoor fire pits. Yes, last year’s was C4 too.

What a lovely bunch of people! I picked out two possible winners one of whom was the actual winner. I would happily have given house room to several of those cheese sets.

Guess what... TV critic of the i didn't like it and says 'it tends towards the eye-rollingly saccharine' and needs 'some hint of jeopardy'

Jeopardy? It's a nice gentle bit of entertainment which is exactly what most of us need now imo. I think everyday living contains more than enough jeopardy at the moment thank you! Come to think of it, there IS some jeopardy involved because they don't know if their potting has been successful until it comes out of the kiln. That's quite enough for me!
