I didn’t get the scene with Zoe giving Martin the convertible bed so he could be more comfortable - he’s not meant to be sleeping. But Zoe is quite dodgy and I still don’t trust her
I thought she had converted it from a bed into a sofa for him to sit more comfortably. She said something about forgetting that it was convertible.
I am actually finding this quite hard to follow and may not bother with the rest of it. A lot of the dialogue is hard to hear and the long spells of music with no dialogue don't help to keep my attention focussed. Have we heard exactly what it is that Martin did in the past that seems to prey on his mind? None of the police characters seem very credible to me and I don't like any of the others. The whole premise of Zoe spying on her neighbours ( don't any of these people ever close curtains or blinds?) is horribly creepy.

I think she did it. Mind you, if they want another series they'll have some wacky ending that doesn't make sense.

For me it's getting better and better. Looking forward to tomorrow's finale.

Maybe the announcer will now stop saying 'starring BAFTA winning Noel Clarke' every three seconds. In fact, they may not mention him at all.

Thank you! That makes sense. Martin said he was called to a domestic. He didn’t search the suspect and the man had a knife, with which he stabbed Martin’s partner, paralysing her. I can’t see a happy ending. Zoe’s distant stare over Martin’s shoulder last night did not bode well. And too in real life, as Noel Clarke’s career explodes before us.

I didn't notice that - when was it?
(Unless you mean the scene at the very end - that was Stella looking at him from the window, who now knows he and and Zoe have had sex, having spotted that his shirt had been buttoned up wrongly and just after Zoe had appeared clad only in a towel - and Martin realised that she knows.)

Yeah... I think I will have to come here for the reveal as watching him is going to make me feel a bit sick

Wonder if that's his career over then

Well I know he hasn't been investigated by the police but it is very clear that he invited young and inexperienced actresses to take part in naked auditions - apparently to see how they reacted in front of other people as this has been corroborated by others. He even wrote to agents saying this was expected. Some are saying he never filmed the auditions but some of the actresses are saying he told them he did and in effect that is the same - it's still blackmail, it's still harrassment and making threats. The newspaper has spoken to ex boyfriends/girlfriend/crew/others who have corroborated stories like touching, groping, grabbing people and kissing them etc.
As the victims come from a variety of roles and do not all know each other it is hard to believe that this is a group effort to bring him down. Whether the police get involved or not, it is clear the studios believe it. Sky have now said they will no longer work with him.

I expect the studios have had complaints before now. But when it's only one woman complaining, they can brush it off as spite or a misunderstanding. But 20 women, many of them willing to give their real name, that's a different story altogether.

When talking about this case on the World at One on Radio 4 the BBC reporter said he is currently starring in Viewpoint on ITV, the last episode of which "may" be shown tonight. I wonder if it will be pulled?

Starring Noel Clarke Bafta winner has turned from their proud boast to biggest regret. If they do pull it, it will be ridiculous. Even if guilty - and he is innocent unless proved otherwise - what's that got to do with a part he plays in a drama as an actor.

I think it's tricky for ITV. If they do show it, the ratings will be right down and they will be accused of condoning his behaviour. Which, as it's an 'open secret' in the the industry, I'm sure they knew about. Or they pull it and gets complaints from people who want to see how it ends and from people who think he's innocent until he's proven guilty.
I agree with the latter. But I won't be watching it.

They have pulled the episode according to breaking news just now. I would have watched it just for completion of the storyline, but last night was uncomfortable viewing, and I wouldn’t want to watch other stuff with him in now

I would have watched it just for completion of the storyline, but last night was uncomfortable viewing, and I wouldn’t want to watch other stuff with him in now Oh well, that has taken the decision of whether to carry on watching it out of my hands! I have last night's episode recorded and was undecided whether I cared enough about the story to bother watching it. Not much point now is there?
