Starts Monday (10th) to Fridays at 9.30 pm (1/6)
Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith return with their rather strange tales. This first one is called 'Wuthering Heist' where the heist of the century is being planned.....
Stars: Kevin Bishop, Patterson Joseph, Rosa Robson, and Dino Kelly. I enjoy these half hours of unusual stories. There's often a 'twist' at the end. Will be watching. I did do a search, but see nothing has been written about this series before.

I forgot about the hare in the new episode, and had to use the website above to find it! Great start to the new series. For anyone who doesn't know, there is a podcast called Inside Inside No. 9. Steve and Reece discuss the episode and usually have a guest from the episode. It's rather self-aware and S&R come across as pleased with themselves, but there are interesting insights into the making of the programme. This is the podcast about the new episode: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p09gz6y6

Thanks Helen. I didn’t realise the website would be updated. There was no chance I could spot the hare in that situation. I was scanning the background, but it was so dark I knew I was on a loser.

No clowns in the first episode, it was comedia dell'arte so masks (not surgical ones!).

I enjoyed episode 2. Now it must have been made BEFORE they screened the end of LOD but it could have been totally based on that couldn’t it? 😂😂😂

I forgot it was on! Curse my ageing brain! And I marked it off in the Radio Times.

in what way, Marion? Do you mean that fans were unhappy with the ending of LOD (which would have happened whatever the ending was, I think!)? I never watched Game of Thrones but I understand that many fans were very unhappy with its ending and are lobbying to have it rewritten. Steve and Reece refer to this in the podcast for episode 2.

LOD came to mind because it is such a big show and the fans’ disappointment was aired very loudly. Also, it reminded me of this when Steve Pemberton snapped back that “it was LOW KEY”.
