Well that turned didn’t it? I was very disappointed in Iris.
In the hare front, that lovely link is updated every week so I go to that first!

I didn't see that ending coming. Glad I remembered it this week. I keep forgetting to look for the hare.

I didn't enjoy this episode, perhaps because its setting and storyline were depressing. I didn't see the point of Reece's character, or rather caricature, who seemed only to be there to give Reece something to do (and to show us the hare!). There have been other episodes with only one of them, I think, and it would have been more claustrophobic with only Steve and 'Iris' with perhaps the man in the next room banging on the wall.

I've watched the first two and I think they are running out of steam as writers for this. The first one wasn't funny and too clever for its own good. The 2nd one had a predictable ending which I've seen quite a few times before. I'm just watching the 3rd one and hoping it improves.

Well, I didn't see that ending coming! But I agree with you, Helen. There was no need for Reece's character. It would have much better with just Steve and 'Iris'.

Series 7 starts on Wednesday (20th) at 10pm. (1/6)
Lawrence arranges a special reunion for his Uni friends, Darren and Callum......I will be watching. There's an interview with the stars in the new Radio Times.

Well Done, Loopy. I enjoyed it too. I felt sorry for Reece's character, just shows how grief can overwhelm you. Liked the ending, where he and Bonnie were reunited.

Forgot to look for the hare in last night's episode. The link on previous page hasn't been updated yet so I may have to watch it all again. In fast forward.

It’s updated now. It was on the desk in the headmaster’s office when Alan went in to look at the files, next to the shield. I thought I spotted it but couldn’t be bothered to walk up to the screen for a closer look. I did RW about three times though, 😂.

I thought this episode was deeply unpleasant, derivative of both Lord of the Flies and the Wicker Man without the subtlety of either. I couldn't see the point within the story of the Headmaster photographing Alan's private parts – as far as I recall this has nothing to do with the story of John Barleycorn. Of course disbelief has to be suspended with all these stories but the notion that he would simply submit to such abuse was ridiculous. We are meant to believe that the Headmaster was calling his bluff and that he wouldn't complain because he left his previous job under a cloud, but why? To show what a rotten lot the village community all were?
And I didn't spot the hare either.
