It always amazes me how dogs can be so forgiving after that kind of treatment. It's a good job they live in the moment.

Would removing the ear canal make a dog deaf?

Miranda I think they were able to leave Max with hearing by shortening his ear canal, now if this was Supervet Noel and not Puppies Pal Paul we would have got a proper explanation of the operation dog-0214-18

Often think Battersea needs Noel. Not that POG isn't wonderful too!

Only if he was doing it for free. His ops are madly expensive.

I saw that as well Miranda - wonder if she has arthritis or those hip problems we see on Noel's show, she appeared quite a happy dog though

New series starts Wednesday (22nd) at 8pm. (1/3)
Paul catches up with some of his canine friends he's met over the years. Like Bruce a terrified Puggle who has changed the life of his new family.have
I like this series, have watched each one from the very first. Some people can be so cruel to animals, but thankfully most of us just love them. Paul is a great presenter. Thank goodness for places like the Battersea Cat and Dogs' Home.

Saw the one off last night. Recorded during the beginning of lockdown. Paul took a puppy home to foster. When I saw the Jack Russell pups, I fell in love with them. But in the real world I'm too old to look after babies now. I'd love to work at Battersea, (cats side). When I saw cat Narla and her kittens....Awwwww... Looking forward to next week, when the series starts.
By the way, Miranda, I've visited the Happy Staffie site. Lovely dogs.
