They are, aren't they? It's a good rescue too. Dogs don't stay there very long and they are specialists in Staffies, many of whom have been badly treated. I donate my spare tenner every month to them.

I know, I fell in love with the kittens, and the puppies. And the cats “thoughts” subtitles! Priceless! I would want to take all the kittens home

I actually have five kittens and five puppies. When I tell people that they're like . Okay the kits and pups are only fridge magnets, but I still have them.

I'm just starting it now. And I'm so used to not seeing adverts now that having to wait for the programme to start is very odd.

New series starts on Wednesday (7th) at 8 pm. (1/9)
Series 9 sees Paul return to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, where he meets a shy rottweiler, and a family of rabbits that were left at a bus stop. (Well it is Easter). Shame this show is only 30 minutes long. 45 minutes might have been better.

Bump!
The latest series is starting on STV tonight. It may have begun earlier in other parts of the UK.

Series 11 starts on Thursday (13th) at 8.30 pm (1/8)
The final one before Paul's untimely death. Better get the tissues ready. Shame it's only for 30 minutes each episode, but he certainly highlighted the work that Battersea Cats and Dogs Home do.

Every time I see Paul, it makes me want to cry.

There is one scene with Paul that made me proper sob in the last series. He was talking about retirement and what he would do.

He never got the chance to find out, did he?

Nor did viewers in Scotland who did NOT get the new/final series. We had an hour long political/news programme instead. Hardly like-for-like, is it?

According to rumours in The Sun, Amanda Holden is set to host the next series. Not sure if I'll be watching if that is true, can't stand the woman.

Hmm. I'm not keen but I will give it a go. TBH, 12 years ago I wasn't sure Paul would suit it but he proved me wrong.

According to FB, the new presenters will be one of these three - Martin Clunes, Ricky Gervais, and Tom Hardy. How true this is, who knows. Not sure Clunes will be the right choice as he's a known hunt supporter.
