I started the book, read everything covered in the first episode but didn’t get much farther. It was a weird time, during lockdown. So I’m quite glad to have this opportunity to see how it plays out.

I’ve watched the two episodes, but tbh I’m confused… might have been better had it been scheduled over 4 consecutive nights, not dynamic enough for me to retain much I’ve seen
Maybe I’ll try reading the book

Ditto - I was confused and wished it had been streamed over 4 nights. However, all 4 episodes are available on the ITV Hub - if you can stand it. Personally I think it's the worst of the main channels' "players". Let's hope the new ITVX service *, which will replace it sometime this year, is better.
(* ITVX will offer at the viewer's option either a free service with ads like the current ITV Hub, or an ad-free subscription service which will also have a lot of extra content sourced from other providers such as BritBox. The actual subscription cost hasn't yet been announced.)

Watched the first one but thought it was a bit slow and also I couldn't quite grasp who was who and how they all connected - or not - with each other. When it came to episode two last night I realised I couldn't really remember much about last week and that I wasn't very bothered either so I gave it a miss and read my current book which is much more interesting! It's a shame because Conleth Hill is a favourite actor.

I’m pretty much into it now. I haven’t read the book so I’ve come to it with no opinion on how it should be. As a recovering alcoholic and a periodic compulsive eater I’m getting a fair bit of identification with a couple of the characters, so maybe that’s the appeal. I am interested in the murder mystery element too, and I’m envisaging a twist at the end. I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

I'm really enjoying it. I imagine once they discover who the body actually is, things will get messy with a lot more suspects.
