One of the Canadian gymnasts looks about 12 years old.

This last rotation is very tense.

I find the indoor cycling a very tense watch - the risk of crashes is so strong particularly when they 'peel off' up the side of the track.
Men's marathon on at the moment (10am). I think there is bowling on the red button.

Sad little moment this morning. After the games the bull will be dismantled and recycled. It's on display for now but there are no plans for it be in a museum or anywhere.

It is massive. And I don't think it was built to be a permanent structure. But it would be nice to take it apart and then store it so that it can be rebuilt as part of the new development where the wholesale markets used to be

It might get a reprieve as it has proved popular following the opening ceremony. It is a beautiful structure and deserves to be found a permanent home, imo.
Surely a park could find space for it?

It would be nice but it will depend on how much maintenance it needs ongoing. The Parks Dept funding has been cut to the bone. They are struggling to keep up with what they already have. There's a lot of parks and public spaces in Brum

They said it would have to be indoors and secure. It is made out of recycled aluminium from scrapped cars and reinforced foam from car seats. It takes 4 or 5 people to operate it in order for it to walk, but I suppose they wouldn't need to walk it.
Perhaps it's own glass palladium in a park.
It's very impressive.

Interesting detail about the signs for the teams. I thought some of them looked familiar!
