I think the idea of having a lead character single - be it through bereavement, divorce or whatever - is that in future storylines romances can be introduced.
Hoody, I have also never seen Line of Duty!
2 more and we could play bridge.

I've never seen Line of Duty.
I have to say I thought Ridley was a bit ploddy and the weather didn't help.
Apparently they filmed it over the winter so I expect we'll get a lot more fog and drizzle.

I have only seen the last series of LOD...and that's because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

It was humid and sticky here, on Monday (which was when I watched Ridley on the ITV Hub). I was gulping in the gloomy, damp scenery, Beverley and trying to imagine I was there. Didn’t work!

Oh any summer you want when things get to clammy head yo the North east and experience a sea fret.

Scotland! We call it "Haar" - and it lies like a heavy blanket over areas of the country whilst others bask.

Tonight’s episode ok as something to pass the time, but again easy to work out who the guilty person was

Can’t understand why he wasn’t sacked for breach of GDPR, leaking that coroner’s report. I continue to enjoy it even though it’s predictable

So easy to work this one out. Agree with linseed, he should have had that lad in the station when he knew he'd leaked the PM.

I also could not believe that chap was not arrested after leaking the coroner’s report. Ridley was just hopeless with him. It’s one thing not being vindictive, it’s another to let a blogger (or whatever you would call him) hinder an investigation. I was annoyed!

It is easy watching but just so naive. That young man would have been suspect from the start. Arrives at an isolated place where a dead body has been found, they check him out and he's been sectioned before, then the report gets leaked.
Suspect number one.
