I haven’t seen this and can’t see the attraction but it seems a traitor has won the £95 grand. Well in the interest of fairness I hope either HMRC or a fraudster are the next contacts the winner has.
Why are we rewarding treachery over honesty, are we just following government policy, after all they say society is influenced from the top down.

Well there's 9..or was it 12.. hours of my life I wont get back (as they say). OH wanted to watch it so I wasnt paying that much attention anyway.
Questions arising: What size of appearance fee do each of the competitors get? Given the relative benefits of the circa £100k prize (I assume it's tax paid) those who got chucked out didn't seem overly distressed - right down to the final few. Perhaps it's the potential attendant "reality tv 'celebrity'" rewards they stand to gain that most of them are in it for? And why all the boring stuff at the seaside with the boat in the final episode? Talk about dragging it out...
The whole Traitors/Faithful idea is quite emotive, understandably to drum up interest. But try thinking of them as Conservative and Labour MPs and changing sides as defecting (choose which side is which according to your own political bent) and the whole thing takes on quite a different aspect

Caught up at last. Great stuff, really enjoyed it. I came to dislike Harry and wish he'd lost. Never mentioned he has a girlfriend either, so led Mollie a total dance. But to be fair, they know the aim of the game and they are all in it to win it.
Kept me on the edge of my seat, and not much TV does that these days

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Yes, I came to dislike Harry in a way, but as he said afterwards, he can go back to being his old amiable and very “nice” self again. He wasn’t a natural traitor, unlike Paul who relished every moment! If Paul had won, I’d have been furious, not so much Harry. Mollie wasn’t happy when she found out and who can blame her, but I did read yesterday that Paul has promised her a holiday to make up for it!

I see they mooting the idea of a celebrity version again. I expect I would watch it, which is all they care about, but i hope they don't. 'Ordinary people' have such a real stake in winning it is far more fun! Thoroughly enjoyed the Australian version, series 2. Apparently it's been axed due to poor ratings. The dumb-dumbs! {In case you've not seen it}Heaven help the Aus police with Keith on board. Did he make a single judgement that wasn't utterly wrong? So glad Sam got nothing, but felt sorry for Blake. Not sure about the Traitors Dilemma as a thing, where did it come from? Felt like a last minute idea by the producers to me.
Camille must have known her vote would do what it did. On reflection, a bit mean - if I don't win, no one does. But it means Sam lost so, Yay!

I was surprised to find that several of the contestants (UK) were with the same agency and they have been jetting about on TV progs ever since. On that basis Mollie has already probably made £95,000. So when we say ordinary people or general population we're really talking about people who want a TV career.

Well, I suppose you can’t blame them. They’re still ordinary until they “make it”!

These days it's enough to have been part of a reality show to be considered a 'celebrity'...
Have nearly reached the final of Series 2 on catch-up - but I found out a week or so ago who won, there was an article in the newspaper about him Will still finish the series though, as I do enjoy the goings-on, so to speak. Though if there's one thing I can do without, it's the frequent bursts of loud, dramatic music which mean I have to keep the volume control close to hand: anyone else find this annoying?

The Traitors US Starts on Wednesday (12th) at 7 pm, on BBC3. They are showing two episodes to start with. Alan Cumming is the host.I haven't seen the American version, so it will be interesting to see how it compares with the British version.

I'm watching it on i-Player, the full series appears to be available. Anyone else partaking?
Seeing as it's supposed to be the US version, not entirely sure why two Brits - Ekin-Su (Celebrity Big Brother, Love Island) and John Bercow (former HOC Speaker) are included, but hey, it's still shaping up to be a good run. This time Alan Cummings only picked two Traitors initially, so they were recruiting another almost straight away - interesting choice for the third! I haven't named anyone just in case no-one else has seen it yet, but definitely worth a watch
